We got this for our daughter when she was about 9 months old. He other car seat was rated to 22 lbs but she just seemed uncomfortable in it. She love this one. Its very comfy and easy to clean. It is a little big and bulky. But it is nice that it will last her for so many years!

I was overwhelmed by the choices out there for convertible car seats. I chose this one based on other ratings. This is the first convertible car seat I have ever purchased, so I can't really compare it to others. However, I am very happy with this purchase.

I don't know if its just me (since most of the other reviews seem quite positive..) but I have had nothing but trouble with this damn carseat! From day one, the straps ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS slump off of my son's shoulders the entire time! And this is despite tightening/adjusting them however possible. No matter how tight or loose they are, this happens anyway. And so to make up for it, i try to keep them really tight but then of course that makes it uncomfortable and frustrating for my son to be so confined, especially when they are just going to fall off of him either way!! This seat looked SO comfortable and had a "deluxe" kind of look to it, so i was really excited to get it! So needless to say, i am quite disappointed! After using it for about 3 months now, the bottom buckle on the left wont even stay snapped in anymore! I don't know WHAT would cause this, especially since I am not using it any differently than directed..Normal wear and tear (especially so quickly!) should NOT break the thing! So now if it wasn't safe enough as it is because the straps are always falling off, now the BOTTOM set of buckles dont even work so its REALLY unsafe!! SO disappointing when I had such high hopes! In my husband's car, we have one that was half the price of this one and works SO much better!!
