Thought it would be a little heavy but is light enough to lift into my car. Lets me take my mother-in-law to places that it would previously be impossible to take her to. Overall, a good item to buy.

I got this wheelchair for my mother because she just had a hip replacement (with a knee replacement to follow in a few months) and cannot walk long distances, even with her walker. Her car doesn't have enough room for her "regular" wheelchair, and she cannot get into my car that is big enough to fit her regular wheelchair into. I opted to get this one because we won't be totally dependent on it and will probably put it away after she has healed from her surgeries, so we didn't need an overly pricey model.
We are pleased with this transport wheelchair, especially for the price. It seems sturdy enough, and it is ready to use right out of the box. The quality really is better than we were expecting from a so-called "economy" model, and the chair is comfortable.
Now, for the cons. I got the 17" model and it definitely weighs more than advertised. That isn't really an issue for me, because I have also had to lift several "regular" wheelchairs, but that might be important to others. The other complaint I have about it is that I had a terrible time trying to adjust the footrests because they were set too short when the wheelchair came out of the box. It was almost impossible to get the bolt on the end loose.
All in all, like I said before, this is an excellent wheelchair for the price. I think someone who has bigger mobility issues might want to opt for a pricier model, though.

This chair is much lighter weight than a regular wheel chair and takes up so much less room in the trunk of my car. Also, the height of the handles is higher than a regular wheelchair which is much better for me because I'm tall. I don't find myself unconsciously stooping as with the lower handles. I would buy another transport chair for these reasons.
